I had many different schools to pick from. Buena, Foothill, or Ventura. My top pick so far was, Foothill. After that I would have picked Buena. Then Ventura. Was my last pick. But I think I need to find out more information about each school.
Here I will talk about my choice of what high school to go to. In the beginning, my choice was to go to Buena or go to Foothill. My first idea was to ask my friends at Balboa what high school they wanted to go to. Going to foothill or going anywhere else. Soon after that I talked to my parents about what they thought. They thought whatever I wanted was ok with them.
I thought, Why not? I will at least try to make it in to foothill. If I don’t make it then there is always Buena. So then soon after that I went on the tour of foothill, I saw what kind of school it was then I realized this was the school that I wanted to go to. The kind of school that had more education and less drugs/violence. Soon after that I was positive and sure that I needed to come to foothill high school. That week, I went on the schools website and I loved the organization, also I thought it was very cool that each teacher had a website. I went through each 9 th grade teachers website and was amazed at the work they were getting done each day.
My head wanted to go to foothill. But I was worried about some of the friends I was going to lose. Then a few weeks after I knew that I would make new friends. And so far, I have made new friends. I like it here. My heart wanted to make new friends and keep the old. And not separate from anybody at any school. I wanted to come to foothill for the academic reasons. And I wanted to go to Buena for friends.
I decided to come here. Because I wanted to make new friends and also i got the education that i wanted. so , my high school years are going to go really well. at least i think so far.
